This is the oldest list of meetings ever to have been discovered. The date of 1866 has been estimated by various people by cross referencing the various entries, as there is no date explicitly recorded on the list itself.

Very interesting to see Yalding / Collier Street in Kent and Nathaniel Worsley referenced as the contact - his grandson only very recently passed away at a great age.

Jonathan, I think Alan was his great-grandson whose father, John, was a boarder living in TW in 1911, a drapers' assistant. I wonder if he worked for WM Sibthorpe?

You may be right - it was recounted to me as his g/father but given the dates it's possible a generation got skipped...

It is interesting that the name of the owner, presumably, written on the front cover is that of Heyman Wreford, author of the hymn "Christ is the Saviour of Sinners". He was of course a friend of William Kelly and author of the book "Memories of the Life and Last Days of William Kelly".

Roger, the Address List comes from a huge 2-volume scrapbook compiled by a Henry Pontis, that Heyman Wreford subsequently added stuff to as well. Somehow it ended up at Emmaus Bible College where the scan was done. Thanks to Doug Engle for scanning it and passing it on.

I assume the 1866 dating comes from the fact that both Percy Hall (Paignton) and WH Dorman (Bristol) are listed as contacts. Both these parted company with JND around that time over the controversy about the sufferings of Christ. Also, CHM is here at Bristol and not at Dublin, Scarborough, or elsewhere.

The Pontis scrapbook has an earlier list of meetings, from the 1850s, in London - with a timetable of weekly meetings, locations, etc.

Is there further information on Henry Pontis who also had some difference with WH Hocking about Darby's teaching? - https://www.brethrenarchive.org/manuscripts/other-letters-of-w-j-hocking/letter-to-mr-henry-pontis/
