This is of course relevant to the "Chicago Notes" controversy of 1905 which brought James Taylor to prominence as "Mr.Darby's successor" (although he disavowed such a title). But T.H.Reynolds also wrote in August 1905 a letter to the brethren in America critical of JT’s teaching at Chicago. We know about this because of references in JT's letters. Does anybody know of a copy of this letter? It would also be interesting if any copies of the original, unrevised, Chicago Notes have survived, but I suspect not.
