W J Lennox was one of the "fathers" of the Needed Truth, and I'm told, quite a warrior too! Prof John Lennox of Oxford is a kinsman. (Thanks S.J.) If anyone knows the tract this is written against, would be glad to see a copy.

W.J Lennox was the owner of a department store in Armagh, Co Armagh N. Ireland. This has long since closed but there is till a name over a doorway where the store used to be called "Lennox House".
He was one of the co-planters of the church of God in Armagh, in Newry Road, which still continues with a small number of believers gathered for weekly breaking of the bread and midweek prayers and Bible study. Also monthly outreach gospel gathering in the hall under the title "Search for Truth", which is the name of the weekly Bible teaching programme broadcast on Transworld Radio (TWR). A larger sister assembly continues to gather in Belfast. These assemblies are linked in a fellowship of churches with assemblies in countries in Africa, India, the Philippines, Myanmar, Australia, the UK and Canada. In recent years, assemblies in the UK have shrunk, but growth areas are overseas., abn new assemblies are continuing to be planted. These all maintain a united testimony and have representative gatherings of brethren from these countries where doctrinal and current issues are discussed in a desire to maintain a unity of belief and practice across the fellowship. Information is available on the website www.churchesofGod.info We seek to maintain good relationships with other Christians, locally in Armagh where I worship, and elsewhere, as all born again believers are in the church the body of Christ.
