I am trying to find out information on an ancestor who studied at the institute 1880 an then went on mission to China. His name was Frank Harmon but may have studied under the name Frederick Dennis McCarthy. If possible could you send any information.

Kathi, Info on Rev. Frank Harmon is very limited & confusing.
Suzanne Beere says on April 10, 2015:
My grandparents, Frank Henry Brigg Harmon and Marjorie Porteous Harmon were interned at Chapei Camp also. My great grandfather Frank Harmon was a missionary in China from 1882. He served the Chinese Labour Corps in WW1 when he was 62 years old. He was also present at the relief of Peking. I would love to see photos of China at this time.
