My dear Brother

Though excessively occupied & likely to be for some time, I am looking to the Lord to give me the opportunity of getting to the proposed meeting (if you carry out your thought) at Exeter in 3 or 4 weeks. I agree with you that such an assemblage of brethren might be helpful just now; & the absence of dear Mr. Darby will test how far men are swayed by influence, are founded on the everlasting truth of God, or moved about by every puff of foul wind, such as has been long blowing from Paignton within & many places from without. If I can, I will gladly be with you, ____.d the meeting be arranged. With love to all br.n

Yours Affect.y in X.t

W. Kelly

P.S. I have just written a brief answer to Gilpin with a sufficient notice of Dorman’s bad pamphlet & of the doctrine itself to put plain men on their guard. I may examine both W.H.D. & P.F.H.’s pamphlets at length ere long, if leisure be given.
