I am a Birthright Quaker from America, originally Purchase NY Meeting, then Wilton, CT, now in NYC. My family comes from Palmer and Stabler and Clarke near Swarthmore College in Pa.
I am coming to England with my choir from the Cathedral Church of St John the Divine in New York City. We are singing services at Westminster Abbey, Ely Cathedral, Lincoln Cathedral and Liverpool. We arrive in London on August 9th and are staying at the London Park Plaza Westminster Bridge between . I am very eager to visit the burial site and center for George Fox while in London. In preparation, I am rereading my Quaker biographies and recalling my family's history. I'd like to visit the grave site of Georgfe Fox and spend some quite time there. It looks like Quaker Gardens is near our hotel. Depending on our rehearsal schedule, I'll be able to schedule a time to come there. Is there someone who I can wirte to about Quaker Gardens and your services there?
