Another bookseller .. we know a little bit about him because of the 'character sketch' by WGT though it contains scant biographical information.
In 1919, at the age of 74 he married his housekeeper Elizabeth Seymour. She had been living with him since at least 1901, and was 14 years his junior. Sadly the marriage didn't last long as FE Race died in 1921. Seems a bit odd if you ask me :-S
He is buried with his father George, and wife Elizabeth in Ladywell cemetery.
