Henry Frederick Morley was my great grandfathers uncle. I was hoping that I would find information about his family and about his wife Minnie Morley nee Outtram on this website. My family hasn't got a lot of information about the Morley and the Outtram family so I have decided to do research to see what I can find out. I enjoy learning about my family and find it very interesting.

Did he write that sublime tune, Come? The KGB don't use it because they don't have the glorious eschatological hymn,

Come, Prince of Peace, for now
The sands are run

Greg, yes he did, although it appears only in the maroon Little Flock Tune Book Supplement (1965) and isn't included in KBT's green 1979 edition.

The KGB don't yet have Mr Bevir's hymn in the hymn book although we did sing it to Alastair Millar's LINNWOOD in the singing sessions at the Yarnfield Conference in 2018.

[For clarity, 'KBT' above means Kingston Bible Trust and, in this context, 'KGB' is Kelly-Glanton Brethren and not the secret police and intelligence agency of the Soviet Union, formed in 1954. From the Russian K(omitet) G(osudarstvennoj) B(ezopasnosti), Committee of State Security, now superseded by the FSB.  Any similarities of tactics and behaviour between the two are entirely coincidental :-) ]
