Edward Rubie (born at Windsor, Berkshire in 1846 and died at Bognor Regis, West Sussex in 1942). Lived at Eltham, Kent in the 1930s and '40s. The middle initial 'C' is spurious, it was his son Edward (1877-1952) who had the middle name of Corin, after E. P. Corin, a close family friend.
