From your remarks about her father the Hon W H G Wellesley, was he of the Open Brethren persuasion rather than exclusive? As always, one wonders why someone's conversion would lead them to a minority group rather than any number of nonconformist groups that could have provided a similar kind of non-established church. I do hope the poor girls didn't have a wholly miserable upbringing devoid of love and joy.
