I'm so grateful for this valuable chapter. The interesting illustrations are a great asset. One hopes that further revised chapters are yet to appear.
Does anyone know if the unpublished work of Philip McNair quoted here (which is also quoted by Marion Field in her biography of JND) is accessible, and whether a copy is in the CBA, or other reference library?

Tom I would greatly value if Mr Werenchuk could give his reasoning on assigning the first breaking of bread in Dublin, to February 1828. Others give December 1827? are you in contact with him?
