      Announced at the end of Vol 2 of "The Treasury":

      Mr. Franklin Ferguson, whose articles have been so much apprecialed in the past, now joins me in the editing of this and the new paper "The  New Zealand Ambassador." .. The new paper will, we trust, go forth with God's blessing upon it from its first number,  "The Ambassador" will, we believe be different in character to anything else in the field at present, as it will contain monthly sound gospel matter, one conversion, a dialogue for sceptics, and help for young believers. The size will be sixteen pages .. it will be issued on the 1st of each month, and the Treasury on the 15th as heretofore.

      It was later called the 'Gospell Ambassador'.
